Republican Party of Texas: GOP Hutchison runs for governor, backs term limits

U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison says GOP Gov. Rick Perry is “trying to stay too long” in office and she is proposing term limits for Texas governor.

How long is too long?That’s the question Sen. Hutchinson needs to pose to voters if she hopes ot unseat Governor Perry. Perry has been in office since 2000 and is Texas’ longest serving governor. Hutchinson has proposed an eight year term limit.
